Project Overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This project delivers a small-scale off-grid solar power system to Escuela Preescolar Maluro-Lereado<\/strong>, located in Suku Maina II, Loro Administrative Post, Laut\u00e9m Municipality, Timor-Leste<\/strong> \u2014 one of the most remote and underserved areas in the country.
Accessing the site required a 6-hour journey by road<\/strong>, followed by transporting solar equipment across two rivers and difficult terrain<\/strong>, highlighting the extreme isolation of the community.
The village is home to approximately 80 households without access to electricity<\/strong>, where the school serves as a critical center for early childhood education.

System Purpose<\/strong>
The solar power kit was designed to provide essential electricity for education<\/strong>, including:

– Charging phones and laptops for teachers and school use
– Supporting basic digital learning activities
– Enabling continued teaching in the absence of grid electricity
Although small in scale, the system plays a significant role in improving learning conditions<\/strong> in a previously unelectrified environment.

Impact<\/strong>
This installation represents more than just a technical solution \u2014 it is a step toward education access and community development<\/strong>.
For the first time, the school has reliable access to electricity, allowing:
– Improved teaching capabilities
– Access to digital tools and resources
– A better learning environment for young students
